The spotter: The initial sighting. The prey is in plenty. It has come in droves and the hunter mingles in the crowd, gauging, measuring, weighing. Slowly the hunter eliminates his prey until finally one candidate is selected.
Prep: The hunter retreats to the corner of the room and gathers his thoughts, a strategy is quickly formulated, taking into account any and all contingencies that may need to be taken up if things don’t go according to plan.
Approach: Once all plans a re ready its time for action. An assessment of the prey’s movements is done. The hunter is patient and is willing to wait this out all night if he has to, waiting, waiting for the right moment to move in. Then, there it is the moment he’s been waiting for. He moves in quickly lest another undetected hunter is in the environs after his prey.
Contact: He quickly makes himself acquainted to his prey through some form of “verbal prowess” common lines are: Hi how do you know the host? That’s a nice (piece of clothing, etc)! Or more tired things like that.
Compe: “Hi sweetie!” just before you say “hey…slow down we just met” you notice a taller/richer/smoother/better looking dude (Her man!) And yet the question in your mind goes, “what’s he got that I don’t have?”
Retreat: Ahh! You desperately look around the room should to find an escape route. You don’t see it but still murmur an “I’ll see you later” while backing up.
Briefing: Mission was a total disaster “I’ll be back!!!”

Hey, pick your tools (not those ones) and restart the hunt man - plenty more fish in the sea (mixed metaphors and all)
LOL
The hunter sometimes becomes the hunted. Wouldnt that be cool!!!
A hunter should include a bevy of prey as part of the contingency and watch (stalk) prey to establish and re-establish the absence of a taller/richer/smoother/etc companion!!!
Otherwise move in when compe is in the loo!!!
Milo???? in the loo? yawa thoo!.
A whole night is a long time. How about gathering courage and talking to her at first glance?. Or is it easier said than done?.
@guess will do
@milo ?????
@straw easier said than experienced!!
When the hunger pangs hit big-time, you shall be back with calculated strategies.
Ditch those tired lines!!!
Get the good quality nets cast them in the sea and the big fish will soon be yours
hey tomas - just checking!!
you know if I were you, Id ask this new entrant for five minutes, just him and me, outside. May the best man win :)
Who am I kidding, I probly would even mutter that "I'll c you later" as I meld with the background
strawberries - "Talking to her at first glance". That's the stuff interesting nights are made of. You have to be really high or insane to do such a thing. Either way, you have to be out of your mind.
